Many of us health care professionals are
frequently
in contact in with pregnant or breastfeeding women and sometimes feel
slightly out of our depth. Do you always know how to manage a breast
feeding mother with persistent sore nipples or a baby that
cries
all night and seems not to feed properly? Hari Doman can offer training tailored to pre-existing levels of knowledge and for various different clinical settings.

Hari Doman can provide appropriate training for health visitors and midwives either as part of their structured training or as an add on for existing staff.

Many new mothers will visit their GP or Practice Nurse for problems with feeding or for breast problems. Hari is happy to provide in practice training or to a PBC cluster or larger group.

I have provided breastfeeding training to Surestart staff and have helped to provide the skills for community peer breastfeeding support workers.

I have performed tongue-tie release on 20 babies who could not breastfeed properly because of the problem. Having set up the service in Sussex I would be able to project manage setting this up elsewhere.
